Amanco Wavin Cold Water
Amanco Cold Water is presented in two categories. The Amanco Weldable line is a PVC system for cold water distribution, with a complete portfolio to handle all types of projects. Used in residential, commercial, and industrial works, in permanent and embedded installations. It complies with the NBR 5648 standard – Cold water systems and pipes with lengths of 3 and 6 meters of brown color. Available in diameters of 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 60, 75, 85 and 100mm, it supports service pressures of up to 750 kPa (7.5 kgf / cm2 or 75 mca) at a temperature of 20°C, being 4 kgf / cm2 for maximum static pressure and 2 kgf / cm2 for eventual overpressures, with a variation of temperature depending on the pressure (of a maximum of 45°C). Installation is done in cold, with PVC Traditional Plastic Adhesive or Extra Strong and the cleaning is done with Amanco’s Cleaning Solution.
The Amanco Threaded line can be used in any kind or standard of residential, commercial, or industrial project. Used in cold-water distribution systems, provisional installations, or in locations with constant dismounting of the distribution system. The piping possesses thicker walls due to its threaded connection. Manufactured in white PVC, it is available in diameters ½”, ¾”,1”, 1 ¼”, 1 ½”, and 2”. It supports pressures up to 750 kPa (7,5 kgf/cm2 ou 75 m.c.a.) at a temperature of 20°C. The main advantage of the threaded version is the ease to disassemble or relocate the installation, in the case of temporary networks.
